Cauliflower Crust Pizza Recipe

Safe to say that a very large majority of our society loves a good pizza!

Unfortunately there are more and more reason arising as to why some of us can’t have pizza.  Some people are staying away from carbs, the 20150915_074505gluten, the sugar in the dough, some the cheese and dairy, so what are we to do?  What every great food lover would do, find a way to get as close the real thing as we can, and this crust is going to help you get there!

Made with 3 simple ingredients and topped with whatever joys of pizza you would like! Below is a recipe for a Margarita Pizza using Almond Mozzarella cheese made by Lissantti Foods!

Know The Goal

 

Cauliflower Crust Pizza Recipe

1 head of cauliflower
1/2 cup of Almond Cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 cage free egg
2 cloves chopped garlic
Plum Tomatoes
Fresh Basil

Place cauliflower pieces through the feeding tube of the food processor using the grating blade; pulse until all the cauliflower is shredded.

Dry out Cauliflower in a towel to get the water our. .

Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.

Stir Almond cheese blend, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper into cauliflower until evenly incorporated.
Pour mixture onto the prepared baking sheet; press and shape into a pizza crust

Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.

Add tomato and Basil and some extra cheese after baking!
